Cakes for the Queen of Heaven II - On the Threshold

Second Sundays Nov. thru Apr., 1:00-3:30 pm,  North Shore Unitarian Church, Deerfield, IL -- Teen Room

Join us for the 6-session continuation of the Cakes workshop series.  This year, we reclaim the stories of powerful women in ancient Judaism and in early Christianity.  We will explore personal experiences and celebrate the Feminist Spirituality that is emerging.

How would your life have been different if, when growing up, the divine had been imaged as female?

All women are welcome; you need not have attended the first Cakes series to attend this year.  Sign-up will be available at the Women's Programming table in Fellowship Hall during October, or email Nancy Irons This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .  A registration fee of $35 is requested to cover the cost of materials and sandwich lunches.  Childcare can be available upon request.  If you have questions, please call Nancy Irons 847-564-0455 or Avis Barnard 847-446-6279.
